The Distance Education and Information Technologies Center (UZEBIM) aims to follow all kinds of contemporary and up-to-date innovations in the field of educational technology, to produce academic projects in the field of technology, to prepare permanent professional educational courses using the green screen technology in the best way, the content of distance education. continues to make intensive arrangements to present within the framework of educational models and educational theories.
UZEBİM has 8 main academic service areas and coordinators managing these areas. These are Distance Education, E-exam, Hardware and infrastructure, Academic Journal Publication, Electronic Document Management, Information Technologies, Academic Performance Evaluation. It maintains and develops these areas with relevant stakeholders.
UZEBİM's duties include determining the necessary technical and pedagogical standards for all studies that can be offered to its students and lecturers through distance education, increasing the quality of education by using distance education technologies effectively, to create and maintain the relevant hardware, software and personnel infrastructure, to the education unit and its coordinators. to provide the necessary educational technology and technical support, to ensure that the distance education carried out / to be carried out at our university is carried out in the most accurate and modern form, to organize the necessary seminars, training and programs, live broadcast streams and technical and infrastructure support to the lecturers presenting takes place.
Due to the epidemic called Covid-19, which affected the whole world,
face-to-face education was suspended in our country, as in the whole world, and
classes were started to be carried out by distance learning with digital
facilities, and very quickly and successfully met this unexpected process with
all its stakeholders and provided the necessary service. All associate,
undergraduate, and postgraduate courses, which include the pandemic process,
have been opened online in the 2019-2020 Spring semester.
As UZEBİM, by following the developments in the world that are advancing on a new digital basis, by throwing the necessary academic resets; We aim to provide the best service to our students, lecturers and our university by realizing software, hardware and educational upgrades.
